Old fuse maybe and then dont have a clue

The first item (right of tape measure) I believe is an old fuse. The end appears to be copper and the white part, I think is porcelain. The other item I found in a different location but it was about six inches deep beside the river. It is very light and has something inside cause it rattles when you shake it. Any ideas on both please?

I think the one on top might be an old resistor from a high voltage circuit.

It looks like an old phone line fuse? HH
BK In this pic the color is brown they were also white.

Some high-power lights have a large diameter straight ceramic filament that looks a lot like the top item. if you ever get ahold of a whole one, they make excellent knife sharpeners.
