At our past club meeting I asked some members to help me hunt an old football field that I found. Ralph and his niece Ashley, Mark and 13 year old Gabe arrived and we immediately started to find coins and lots of them. I don't think that his field has ever been hunted before. I found 60 coins which were 12 quarters, 11 dimes, 7 nickels and 29 pennies. Also found a uniform snap, a piece of lead, a piece of a buckle and a really nice silver ring. It was marked 925 on the inside. Ralph found a nice military piece. Mark found a set of G.I. Joe dog tags. Gabe arrived later and with his Ace 250 and started to work the fence line with his small coil. He found a several coins there. Everybody found a lot of coins. The oldest that I found was a 65 and 67 quarter. The others were still hunting when I left and I will get a total from everybody later and they will probably post on their site.
