Found several interesting pieces at an old Florida Ghost town dating back to 1850's. Other than the obvious, any ideas?

The two relics in the 3rd picture with the rings in the flat pieces of iron are log dogs. They hammered the wedges into the end of logs and put a chain through the rings to tie them together. Here in Mi. they used them alot in rivers and lakes. They would make a outer ring of chained logs (dogged) with loose logs in the middle and hold them until needed. Nice finds.

Your second pic has been posted here before but I forget what it is. Timekiller probably knows.

yep its a batch of old relic iron logging equiptment - the wedge and ring thing--the wedge was pounded into the logs --so that the ring could be hitched up for dragging the logs out of the woods by ox teams

my bad was told the pine tree scraper was used to move logs about with * but the wedge and rings --I know for sure thats what they were used for

old jug might be a "catch jug" -- to catch pine sap from the hacked trees
