Very pretty. I dont know much about it but the word FIRE-WATER doesnt sit well with me. It seems like a word that would be used on a souvenir.

Here is an old eBay listing but I cant seem to pull it up.

I believe I have seen these flasks, or something similar, being sold in Gatlinburg. Does your Indian say Sterling or is it silver plated?

Although I know very little about the that indian flask I do think it is very old and not a modern reproduction. If it is a novelty Flask it has to be a very old novelty flask. Heres a pic of the novelty indian fire water flasks that are a dime a dozen and selling on ebay and other auction sites.

The ones I saw in Gatlinburg were expensive. Im not sure if they were the same as yours. Thanks for the pic. That is most likely the last 2 eBay links I posted. (6.95, 12.95)

I think a good test would be to see if its Sterling or plate. Doesnt Sterling need to be marked somewhere? Did you find the mark? I see brass on the screw top in the top pic.

When were screw tops invented?

I notice the Indian flask that sold for $2225 is marked Sterling and is not a screw top.

I know nothing about these, just trying to get thoughts activated.

Can we see a pic of the threads or whatever is under the cap? I think modern type continuous threads for screw caps came out around 1925. Seeing the type of thread, or lack of, will help create a date range.

Yes it may be a 75 year old novelty flask.

Fire water sounds a lot like Fire nugget to me...

I think it is pretty darn cool. Is it silver? If you are looking to trade it I may have some fire nuggets to entice your tastes :)
