Old Fishing Lures

I cleaned out my Dads barn and found a small box with these lures in it. Just wondering if there is any value or should I have just tossed them. Thanks

Not sure how much they are worth but DO NOT TOSS them they are worth something

The jigs probably are not worth much.But you may have a Heddon in there that might have some value if nothing else you can make a shadow box display with the lures in the it.Lures can have significant value so you should check them out.

I don't know, but some of those lures are worth some money..

I found an old lure...turned out to be from the 30s.The local guy I took it to said he would give me 50.00 u.s.I told him I would think about it and left him with my number.The next day he called me and said he was mistaken and offered me 250.00 I had done some looking a thot it was fair...took it.

Ya never know on these things...I recomend you find dealers online and send them photos.

I know some things on lures. The wooden ones are the best as in value. The Creek Chubs are a nice value usually around $18-$25 each if good quality. Keep the tackle box if it is metal they usually sell for about $10 and up depending on the quality of them. The one with dots on it I am not sure but if it is wood keep it. The others with the metal lips are worthy of keeping. Do you have others? I have quite a few myself. The paint is the best part of the value on the lures and keep all of the boxes if the lures were in them. The boxes sometimes are worth more than the lures. You should look them up on the web for the values on them. You might get shocked on the value on them. I have some french ones that are worth some $. Im saving them till the market gets better.
