Had one tag maybe WWII soldier id tag ,almost did not find it. The item is steel apparently and I only looked down because of a brief bad signal bleed through and saw a oval item that my coil had just hit and picked it up and saw printing on the tag, this was an ah-ha moment for sure !
The spoon read at nickel reading level on the detectors meter. The Indian head penny is brown instead of the usual green corroded I have found before so maybe it will actually clean up.
The bent wheat penny is 1920, the date is hard to read.

Thanks for the replies guys, I tried looking up the name on the tag via Google, found a obituary report on the name for 2007 but that is about all that seemed reliable. The round item in back of the picture that has lots of holes, have no idea what it is. Appears to be copper or brass with a bit of silver plating. Any ideas?

What is that ring? (is it a ring?)

Hi Elad, sure seems like a ring to me. Maybe a womans ring, seems to be made of bronze maybe. The color of the metal resembles the Indian head penny that was found. Could have been made from a coin perhaps, I don't know.

Could the hickey thingy with lots of holes be a salt shaker lid?

How's this for a new signature???
