Old Farmhouse... & Horse Trotting Stadium. (Staffordshire UK)
A couple of promising sites for any UK Midland Detectorists:
The farmhouse and adjacent land is current up for sale, so permission would best be obtained via the estate agent.
Immediately across the road is the old Horse trotting track... I reckon a day or two around where the Grandstand stood would throw up a nice coin or two. In fact, I remember as a youth seeing hardened old horse traders/owners betting gold sovereigns on the outcome of races!
I wouldn't mind a go at it myself, but would prefer some company on those sites... so if anyone local is up for it one weekend, then I'm game!
