Old piece of farm equipment. The tree had grown up through and around and died. Any help on what it’s function was and age would be greatly appreciated. Assuming it was part of cotton operation.
 

I think it’s a press to extract sorghum.

Edit ..... sugar cane ....

Letz was one of the leading manufactures of corn grinders in the early 1900's. The one in the pic is a later model feed grinder. That one would have made a great display at an Engine & Tractor Show!!!

Silage or wet corn, the whole corn stock got shredded and than flung to top of silo. It’s different than the one I have seen but it’s still rusted iron and I like it a lot.
