After a few hours of digging and a close encounter with an angry hornet, I amassed this collection of stuff from this old farm dump in Shirley MA. I also found the old pitchfork, as shown. Does anybody know how old it is, and if it's worth keeping? (some people aren't so keen on it staying in the house. They'd rather see it in the metal recycling:laughing7:)

Lovin' that pitchfork!! Oh HECK no, on the recycling!! Don't know a date, but it ain't recent! Send it to me. I'll give you twice as much as it's worth in iron weight.

Ha, sell it, make him pay for the shipping too!
I love those old bottles. Nice finds, congrats!

Love the doll house bathtub!! I have the toilet to go with it. I think Mucky is close, but I'd say into the forties from the marbles. Doubt the pitchfork is older than 20s-40s also. Looks like a great place to dig around!!

Yaa, don't scrap the hay fork. Some one will want it. Put a wood sign on it's ferrule end and stick it in the flowers.. or who knows what.
The rifle patch box lid is awesome, the nice mix of recoveries has lots of neat stuff though.. Congrats.

What a great assortment of finds. The cast iron claw foot bathtub is probably early 1900's doll house furniture, I bet it would clean right up! Keep it all, I say. Sub 8-)

Thanks for all the comments! I'm glad you all enjoyed my finds, and the pitchfork, which I definitely am keeping.:happysmiley:

Hi Parsonwalker,
Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll hang on to it for right now, because I love it too!:laughing7:

Love those old dumps:thumbsup: there trash is our treasure, nice fork and bottles. I'd say 1910-40 at the latest. I know that Bakelite stuff is from the 20's

Nice saves! I like the little bathtub and the tools.
Tell her people pay good money for those rustic antique accents! Got to use the right trigger words. :laughing7:

I know how that goes (not in the house!). My..uh hum, collection of rocks, is in the flower bed.
