Old Faithful erupts again! Silver AND GOLD this time!!

Last night my Dad and I decided to head out to our favorite spot again for a few hours hunting. He just picked up a Tesoro Cortes and wanted to try it out. We both hunted with the new machine alternating digging and swinging. Old Faithful came through as it always does. This area just never stops. I can't get skunked by this place it just keeping spitting it out and I keep shoving it in my pockets. Last night was no exception. We found 4 silver dimes (two of them in the same hole, check out the pic!) Next came the 10K gold class ring which is nice and hefty. Then toward the end of the hunt we got a nice signal and I looked down into the grass and the silver ring was right on the surface. The other interesting find was the Oriental thing. It looks to be some cartoon character but when I shook it it rattled! So I carefully cracked it open and inside was a small coin from Hong Kong!

Not a bad haul for 3 hours work. I'd say the Cortes proved itself to be a great machine and I'm hoping to pick one up in the not too distant future as well.

That ring is awesome, I like it.....I feel that there is many rings in parks.....found all my rings in the parks this year...It's just hard digging....for me....my knees and hands...man it's hard, yet it's so worth it....found two diamonds this year in the parks....

Very impressed with the Cortes. It was dead quiet between signals which is my biggest complaint about the Bounty Hunter I use. It will go deep but the false signals are annoying.
