✅ SOLVED Old Eagle Head Button From Arizona

I found this old button with an eagle head on it along the San Pedro River, not too far from Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

Can anyone identify it for me? I think its military, but I dont know. Maybe from the World War 2 era?

Its a little bigger than a quarter, the back is rusty and the metal loop thing broken off.

Very nice though. I would say sportsman button as well. Lot of times used on hunting vest and game pouches.

Oh okay. So when were these things in use? How old do you think it might be?

Based on the rusty back, I would guess second half of the 20 C.
