✅ SOLVED old drawer pull

Can anyone help me with an idea of the age of this drawer pull? I found it at an old one room school house site from the 1800.s in southern Ohio

just a suggestion....research desks from that era...antique sites and look for it.The hardware manufactures were relatively few at the time and generally only had a handfull of types avail.each.You will prolly only be able to date it within the mfg. range.good luck...cool find

I was put that drawer pull circa 1880s-Turn of the Century. WELCOME to the forum. Breezie

It looks a touch newer to me, like 1910's -20's, the type that had a celluloid element to it.

But I concede that Breezie knows her eras a bit better than myself, so maybe they were used earlier than I thought.
