Old Dime

This dime was found at an old home site last week. What is its value?

Graded at Fine12 the book would give it about $18. LIBERTY all visible but with weak spots and some kernel detail in the corn and leaf detail on the reverse - might grade higher in person as a flash tends to wash out detail. Book is $25 in VF25. And, of course, a dealer doesn't sell at book and so pays 50 to 60% of book or thereabouts - depending how many they already have or who's looking.

In Red Book, F12 is worth around $20, so for selling you might get $10-$12 out of it.
