Dug it at about 8" in a field. Rang up in the high 80's on the ATP. Looks like it may be an old label thingy for a furnace, but I cannot tell. There is a stamp on the back, but I cannot read it. Does anyone have any idea or a hint, so I can look in the right direction??

If you clean up that name looks like a patent date

Wow, good call, Bigcypresshunter!! That is an obscure-ish artifact.

thanks for the directional point! I'm working on cleaning up the patent name right now, though I am weary of scrapping

Shoot I thought my new glasses were good and was sure I made out the top of a 7 on that last digit.
