In my area, there are alto of old coins vending machines, in restaurants. You put 50 cent in the machine and a egg with a old coin pops out........problem is they are mostly old Euro tender, or some out-dated other coins, but if you look a little closer, in some of the little eggs are mercury dimes, buffaloes, wheat's, Indian heads, silver certificates, and other interesting coins. By the time you see them, your looking like a kid again with a quarter burning a hole in your pocket!!!!!

My friend has gotten a silver certificate out, and a Indian!!!!

And has heard a rumor of a someone getting a foreign gold coin out of one of these machines??!!!???

I have only fed the machine about 3.00 bucks and have crap old foreign coins to show for it........Machine's are in North Carolina at Golden Corral's, Beef Burger, Carolina Diner has one......and other restaurants.

Hmmm, never seen any of those in my neck o' tha' woods. Interesting. Monty

On my trip to Carson City, NV, I took a detour and visited Virginia City. In one of the casinos they had a antique quarter slot machine that you could play. The machine paid out Pre-1900 Morgan Silver Dollars. I dumped $140 in quarters into that machine and walked away with 22 common date/pre-1900 morgan silver dollars. What a fun time! ;D

There was also another newer slot thats top prize was a Unc Casron City Morgan....I didn't win that :-\ ;D

im glad those machines arent around here! id be broke !!! ;D
