Out at my new stomping grounds in the shallow surf again, getting chased by waves. First coin dug was a 1915-S Buffalo Nickel - Key date but the condition is horrible. Followed by a Mercury Head Dime (Date to be determined). Later in the hunt, a 1943-P Silver War Nickel and there were 4 wheatbacks and best of all this gold pendant. It is 18K Gold (.750) and was very deep at around 10"+, it came out looking like it did the day it was lost. It is about the size of a quarter, I have not weighed it yet but it is nice and heavy
I will try and clean the MH Dime and War Nickel but the keydate Buffalo will take a trip to my local coin dealer to see what he recommends. I can't bare to think about cleaning a keydate coin.
HH, Mark
