Finally, I have something worth posting again. Myself and Hiknmtns teamed up for some mountain trail hunting between two villages. It took us about an hour to go up the side of the mountain with our gear and reach the top.
We hit the mountaintop trail and hunted along the way with little results until we found an old crossroads .
We started finding coins while moving brush and logs until the coins dried up. I think we found 58 coins altogether .Most are Japanese from 1905-1945 but we did find some older Korean coins and one Chinese coin from the mid 1700s. It was a fun but tiring hunt.
After leaving that area I drove two hours to the beach and it was high tide so I hit the beach the next day at about noon and hunted 4 hours scoring two gold. My first gold since Labor day so I am pretty stoked . :headbang:
The rings are 14k and one has a stone that may be real.

Trent, I see you are making the most of S. Korea!

Good haul! A bit detecting the beach after the effort in the mountains is pretty cool!

Very nice glitter, congrats! The one with the stone looks like it has some weight to it, nice!

Thanks for sharing, I have been thinking of doing the same here.

That seems an interesting place, cross roads in the middle of the woods to have so many coins. Do you have any idae what may have been, or happened there ?
