It's called a Chinese cash coin. If you google "Chinese cash coin identification" on the net, you can get the approximate year they made it and which ruler reigned at the time.

There are many many fakes of these coins. Some were brought back by soldiers from the Vietnam war. Others made for vintage fashion jewelry.
