Hi All
I'm new to the site and have been detecting for some time. What i have is a 1837 Habitant bank token. Province of Canada. There is two crossed mussel loader rifles and some kind of plants in the background. There are the words Ridea gun club Ottawa on it but spelled backwards. On the edge off the coin there is small notch. The surface of the front is very smooth and in great shape. The back you can see that it has been flattend out but can still see the coin and even make out the date. I found this medal detecting around 10 years ago in a ot picnic area that goes back to the 1850's. This is a great site. Hope you can help. Thanks
