Old coin holder! Need help with possible age, intricate design

Found this at an old farm, the back was nowhere to be found. Was 6 inches deep in the ground. Looks like it could have been designed for a woman maybe? There's no date or company on it to suggest its age. It's a really cool piece and I would love to know the age or history of it. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Yeppers, it's a ladies coin change holder. The pattern looks Victorian and the shape Art Nouveau, so basically around the turn of the century. Super neat find :) Breezie
