Dug in central VA can anyone date or ID this coin I know it is a Asian coin but no clue as further info.

It's Chinese, believe before 1900. Someone here should know.

I found it amongst 3 ringers and civil war artifacts also around a 4 bit silver spanish coin. If it helps...

Those coins are tough to date. They made them for centuries with the same design basically. Here is a little on how to identify their time period.
