A local church historian put me on a site that was used as a reunion ground for the RLDS church from 1890 to 1950.
Took my lunch hour to poke around a bit and I think this is going to be my best spot yet.
the two quarters are 1945 and 1946, the dime is 1911, the two wheats dates are unreadable even under magnifacation, the ring is stamped "Sterling<U>made in the USA", the compact lid has a gold wash over silver with tiny cut glass stones inset, the hinge is brass and very art deco in style.
Thanks for looking
Driftwood

Also......if your ever in south central Iowa give me a shout and we will do some dirt fishen. [email protected]

Nice finds!! :icon_thumleft: the ground here in se Iowa is still like cement. We need a few days of good soaking rain!!

I dont like the blisters and callouses on my hands, lol I'm getting soft in my old age!! Most of my hunting is done in fields which i like because i can use my little shovel and not worry about anybodys grass!!
