Well now that I'm not stationed in Germany anymore, I decided to research a little American history where I am stationed now. It was pretty hot out today but as you see below, my persistence paid off nicely! :hello2: It's not in the greatest shape as the shank on the back side is broken off but other than that, it is complete. I found it in a river near a fort from the mid 1800's. I know the button is some sort of old military type, but I need to complete more research. Thanks for looking.
