I found this button in the same spot I found a union eagle breast plate and a 2-cent piece, so maybe it dates from around then. I thought it was kind of unremarkable until I got home and noticed the markings on the back, comprising a crown and a wreath. No lettering that I can see. Front of button looks like it may have been silver-plated. Would love to know anything about this button.

Also found the horseshoe-shaped thingie, which kinda looks like thin bronze.

Then there is a strange little lead piece that kind of looks like it has a standing figure on the front but no other indications as to what it might be.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just checking in again to see if anybody has thoughts about that button

It's a basket weave button. One of those was actually the third button I ever dug! The crown usually indicates British manufacture and the general style and shank construction suggests 1800-1820.
