Finally got out to do some detecting today. Has finally cooled off with the cold front coming thru. Low 80s is nice weather for digging. I went to an old house built in the early 20s down the road from me that is vacant. The owners live across the corner and rent it out. Lucky me its vacant and I know the owners. This is the same house that I think I mentioned awhile back where the previous owner moved out and the people that own it now found a few gold coins.

No gold for me today but I did manage to find part of a silver broach/pin, an old button with Carolina Special on it, a tie pin ??? with a B on it, 3 dimes, 3 nickels, 4 pennies<<<1 was a wheat, a small buckle probally from some kind of horse bridle, a several more pieces of junk.

Cool Stuff!! The ring shaped thing under the tire weight is a part to a horse bit or harness or something like that.
