Old button ID needed......... Thanks guys!

Found in the same spot as a CW general service eagle button. Not sure what this "S" button is. Working on getting a back mark. Two piece and pretty sure it is CW era.

even a pic of the back without a legible backmark will help date it

From the style of the back its definitely post civil war and very similar to the "P" buttons which stood for police

Looks like "WATERBURY CO.S" and "Waterbury, Conn."; if so, it would date it post 1965.
