Hey folks, found this old button on the shore line in some rocks in the middle of no where!
It's slightly smaller than a penny, very thin, and has no distinguishable markings or lettering besides the pictured face.
It was mishandled and is now broken, so apparently it's very brittle. I would expect thin brass but perhaps it's iron?
What do you think?
