old brass ring

While hunting last weekend with my whites pro xl along the river in franklin ohio I found this old ring.There are no markings on it except parrallel stripes several running even around the band.It appears to be brass and was brown before I cleaned it. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.It appears to be hand soldered in one spot with three pin holes at the spot with a cooper color coming out of the holes.I wonder if it could be indian.Good luck hunting and thanks.
