Old bracelet with strange markings

Found this bracelet a couple of days ago, at first i thought it was just costume jewellery but on closer inspection found the letters 'jf' inscribed on the back and also near the clasp. Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like silver,but jf could be the maker..

The maker's mark could be "V F" for jewelry maker "Verger Frs." Best of luck researching it, it does appear to be sterling. Sub

Nice looking bracelet, looks handmade to me, and sometimes that isn't marked.
