hi all.... my friend found this cool box at a old home site .... can anyone tell me how old it is .
what was it for... the box is about 3" X 3" ....I found this buckle at a old home site ... is it a horse buckle or what was it for and how old is it .. found what looks like a fired bullet . thank you all for looking :hello:

The second photo shows an impact-damaged "copper jacketed" lead bullet. American-made "jacketed" bullets date from the 1890s through the present. The version you found is called a "Full Metal Jacket," because unlike some others, the jacket covers absolutely every part of the bullet's body. You may recall a famous VietNam War movie whose name is a reference to that kind of bullet. Unfortunately, your bullet is too splattered for a more-specific ID than that.
