Old bottle found today - Need help Iding

Old bottle found today - Need help Id'ing

3 1/4" high and 1 1/2" wide, clear glass bottle with and "A" surrounded by a 3 sided box. Also stamped on the bottom is 6 5792. Thought it may be an ink well, but the opening looks too small.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
