The spork appearance says it is a Rubcible spoon type, the side handle I am looking for..

Yours may be older and some other brand.

They make ones like that for people who have trouble bending wrist. Size would probaly tell you if it is a baby spoon or for adult.

That is a very interesting device :thumbsup:

I doubt if it is intended for babies - not with those sharp bits :o

Actually, you might be surprised. :wink:

The Victorians had formal tableware for every single imaginable
kind of thing and it may have had a special purpose, a few more
pics and some type size scale might help.

Depending on size it may well be the fork half of a salad serving set.

Or - we might have to depend on Lear's Runcible Spoon explanation... a fine specimen indeed.
