A coworker asked me if I could find out anything about this old bill for her. I told her we have some very knowledgeable folks here on.
She found this in her attic, taped to an old letter from the early 1900's. It was from her grandmother to her daughter (coworkers Mom). Basically, the grandmother had her son and daughter squabbling over her money and things. Both the son and the daughter wanted this old bill, so grandma cut it in half and gave each of them 1/2 the bill.
Does anyone know how old this bill is? She thinks she sees 1863 or 1865 on it.
Would it have been worth much if it were still in one piece?
Thanks, and remember........................... don't p-ss Granny off !!!
