Nice brush ! Not sure on the cow logo . But I think it's for polishing shoes . This pic is from an 1895 Montomery Ward catalogue .

I agree mojjax... that was my first thought too... I shined a lotta boots in my time, haver had a brush with a handle though. :-\

I'd like to figure out the logo...

I Would Love To Know Who Made The Brush. I Just Think It Is Neat ;D

looking at the figure on the brush I would have to guess it was made by OXCO but I have been unable to find any pics with a similar logo.
