This item was found while detecting wet salt-sand. Equinox VID was 9, putting it in the aluminum, can slaw, foil, junk range. This was surprising considering it’s not light for its size. Weighs 9.6 g. It looks like it was probably cast. Filing one tip exposed a shiny, silvery looking metal. Best guess is that it was once part of a plated piece of jewelry. Thanks for looking and your input.

Perhaps but the wearer would probably have had droopy earlobes.:laughing9:
