Fisher F75

Metal Detecting
Figured the title of this post was two-fold. They all are "old"; came out of "old" dirt in a Baltimore City park that boasts a renovated mansion house.
I took it slow and low just listening for repeatable faint beeps. All these targets required further digging beyond the plug and were down an average of 8 inches. Sound detection was with unaided hearing over the Fisher F-75 external speaker. Finds are shown in order dug: cuff and vest buttons, cuff link, small pin with stone missing, rivet, 1883 IHP, thimble with motto "REMEMBER ME", and the copper ring bracelet.

Thx washingtonian! It showed me that there's still some good finds lurking out there. Had found a couple Indians and buttons at this park years ago.

Thanks vpnavy. Thimble came out of a hole with a piece of a pull tab and two bits of iron. Nice surprise, particularly with the motto. Had found my first motto thimble at another city park years ago.

Nice old finds! Great day for sure

Hi, some nice old finds you found threre:icon_thumright:

As always, nice finds.
BTB, have you been back to a county school where they're doing some heavy construction now? Just curious.

IHP are always great finds and that thimble is very cool

THX dirtlooter! I agree. Finding an IHP is getting more difficult for me in the parks, but the "hot spots" are still there. Thimble did come out in decent shape and the motto is readable.

Congratualtions on the old relics! :occasion14:

Considering how hard the parks in Baltimore have been hunted over the years, those are some amazing finds! Nice job!
