piggman1--I have a book called Collectors Guide to Art Deco and there are some similar ashtrays in it. Most of them range from $250 and up. It says in this book "The ever popular nude figures were incorporated into the design of the ashtrays". "Most were made of metals such as brass, copper, bronze, and chrome but glass and ceramic ones were also prevalant."
You might check eBay every once in awhile and maybe one like yours will turn up. That's a cool "find"!
Hope this helps ya!
kind regards,

Thanks, I was pretty sure it was Art Deco because of the nude. It's really hard to tell what this is made of, but I'm pretty sure it's not metal. I'll keep my eye on ebay.

Was just trying to imagine myself a young man in a 'smoking parlor' about 80 years ago... using that ashtray.

Forget it... won't go there...

Glad to have you back with us Piggy, it's been a while!

It looks more like Art Nouveau .

That is what I think it is too. Does anyone know the value of this item?
