That is the Newer type.

Photo is of the type used in WWII and Korean War.

I have a fork and Knife combo missing the clip on spoon. I have a spoon alone, all have the US stamp, mine are from WW II. Had since the 60's which I took on the Boyscout camp out. Most Mainly Stainless Steel.

We had one of those in our kitchen drawer growing up. I loved it, it was great for mayonnaise and peanut butter spreading.
