Added (not sure why my text didn't show the first time):

Found this heavy silver religious pendant in an area of woods where I have found Civil War 3-ringers and Barber dimes in Rhode Island. It is not marked (i.e., 925,Sterling) but tests very nicely for silver. I know it's a pendant, but any idea of its age or history? Homemade? It's different. Thank you.

I think from the style that it is rather contemporary -1970's or so - could there be a faint hallmark on it anywhere ? I think due to the
sculptural style (heavy 3 dimentional ) that it is company made rather than home made - this is a lost wax cast piece typical of larger
production jewelers . Nice find !
