This was the stubble field we scouted out last week for 45 minutes - only good find was a Livery Button. (When we turned up we noticed it had been disced, that was lucky, as the Wheat Stubble was pretty bad) As options are limited right now, it's time to take risks on fields that are low on the list. If I remember rightly Land-Mag said it used to be old allotments (my question to him is when?, WWI-WWII I guess) 5.5 hours today.
I've done a few fields like this & they are full of rubbish, this never puts us off, well maybe Dad a little We had some great signs in the beginning & thought a hammered was going to pop out at any minute but it wasn't to be...
Medieval Horse Pendant Hanger (shame we never got the pendant)

A flat/thin lead cow - great shape for a ploughed field (100 years old?)

US Collar Stud (another first)
Strange leaf shaped button
1837 'To Hanover' medalion/token
Broken Jetton
Horse Brass with letters
Blank 17th C Token
Match safe;
'FAREWELL
FROM
THE WOMEN'S BRANCH
