Ajax was a thoroughbred race horse that had quite a prolific career. Problem is, apparently there were two that shared the name Ajax. One was racing during the time period after 1904 and the other around the 40s. You choose. I would have gotten over excited as it was dug for at first it looks like some old Roman coin. Nice find

Based on the Greek warrior on the war horse, this pendant is probably a referral to Ajax of Greek mythology. Very cool find! Sub

It's modern. The letter "J" was not used prior to the sixteenth century.
