most of the time I spend with metal detector on the beach but every year I fly to Europe for a few weeks and need help in choosing metal detectors, I thought about buying a Minelab excalibur and deus xp, maybe someone can advise me because I do not have too much experience, What do you think about OKM thank you for every help and sorry for my English, I currently have Minelab Safari

I have a Whites V3i, Its can be a complicated machine or it can be simple to use, if you choose one of the factory preset programs. I also hear alot of good about the minelabs and the DEUS however. I really like my V3i.

I have the deus. For land use. It's fantastic. light,easy to adj in woods around tight areas,hits old deep small coins very well,can down load new updates from computer. Excaliber is all connected s one unit. If say head phones break. You send in whole machine. Deus found coins on the beach that I missed with other detectors. The deus can be more involved ,but is great using their settings. They say the coil is water proof,but better check on that. My deus didn't like the cold salt water. Maybe
