"GEORGIVS" was the Latin translation of "George". In Latin, Us and Vs were interchangeable. The "II" is in front of his forehead.

King George I reigned from 1701 - 1727 and minted coinage from 1717 - 1724.
King George II reigned from 1727 - 1760 and minted coinage from 1730 - 1754.
King George III reigned from 1760 - 1820 and minted coinage from 1770 - 1775, again in 1799, and lastly from 1806-07.
