Well, ya know I used to think psychics had to be phonies, because if they did exist they should be playing poker for a living. So I deduced that they're not real...but after getting familiar with treasurenet, I think PBK comes close. That's the secret. I tried to track this one down, but I couldn't find it either.

Well, I'm not psychic..however I've been called psychotic...
I envision PBK having been alive for about a coupla hundred years, having "been there, seen and done that". I bet he used to advise Sherlock Holmes on MANY matters.
And Gunner is the greatest wiz I know of for ancients. Perhaps he is an archeologist...
The rest of y'all are wizards when it comes to computers and "googling". I've only been "info highway" saavy for only about a year now. I'm learning every day. See? You CAN teach an old dog to fetch!

After I search the usual ancient coins sites and I just can't find it, I go to an ancient coin forum and post the pic and ask them to help me id it...they're remarkably good at attributing (being able to tell what Emperor it is), even with close to cull coins.

If my eyes weren’t so bad, I'd have more patients to do it...

I have gotten some uncleaned coins on the internet quite awhile ago and have just dug them out recently after having cleaned them.
