Hello everyone! I found these at a yard sale and bought them because i liked them&had NO IDEA as to what they are! Yarn spinning maybe? That's why they are posted here for the inteligent crew of TNF !!! Approx.11in&9in.Long.Made of wood,Rope(hemp?) square nail's( in one ).Paper label's BUT unledgible.The"rods" shown are of metal&wood.That's about it unless there is question's or a direct answer! Thank You&HAPPY HUNTING!!!
P.S I bet it's something simple&obvious(not to me!)

Google antique yarn winder and see if any pic of parts look like what you have

The two skinny ones look like 'drop spindles' to make fine thread.

The two large ones are the back wheels for a spinning wheel. The long shafts on them are not handles, but mounting stakes. they are what gives a spinning the speed to spin yarn. The two long pieces look like whorls for hand spinning. Tony
