Dug out the 3300 after only using it a few times last year. Found the users manual online and attempted to ground balance according to the guide. After attempting to do so, it never seems to work. Now matter how far the knob is turned it still rings after placing back down to ground level. So NOT ground balanced? plus since attempting the GB I get false signals EVERYWHERE! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

First, you need to make sure that in the area that you are ground balancing that there's nothing underground. If you try to GB and there's stuff undermeath it will be impossible. Also try another area as there may be some type of interference that's affecting your detector when it goes into pinpoint mode. Make sure your starting from the farthest counterclockwise position and going ever so gently clockwise when you GB. I hope that helps!

thanks. I will definatly give it another go and see how it does. I just have not had the energy to deal with it lately. Way too hot and tired by the time I get home from work.
