So in one of my misplaced former threads I mentioned that I was looking for a telescoping pole assembly of some sort to help possibly fabricate a universal colapsable housing assembly for my best detectors.....
The need for the coil cables to be re assembled and tightly wrapped around their mounts really eliminates any advantage to a collapsablle telescoping stem.
Really what's needed is to just saw through the posts in the middle and attach them to a sturdy locking hinge of sorts that will also easily accept both sides of the poles where they were previously cut.
Does anyone know if such hardware exists?
Thx.....
