OKLAHOMA!
Detector(s) used
Rarely!
Had an opportunity to get in the field this past week because of some nice recent rains. The first photo shows an assortment of typical scrapers, few points, beveled tools, and one sharp bone shard which may be a utensil or just a splintered piece of bone. Notice the small white point in the lower left. Very much intact and well-made. I’ve also posted a photo of a celt, mano, and a small piece of pottery which would otherwise be unremarkable, but this one has a couple of perfectly round holes. I have not seen this type of thing before and have to wonder as to its purpose. The last photo is of a broken grinding bowel I wandered onto last weekend. I'm watching out for the other half of this big guy.
