I have posted a few things the past couple weeks. I'm still new - right? I am in Piqua, Ohio. Kids are all grown up and out of the house. 
I have had several cheap metal detectors over the years and was never really interested. Sold them. Now I'm really interested. 
About the only way you can hunt for relics, coins etc, around here is if it is on private property and you get permission. Piqua is a historical area and the town itself is built on Indian mounds. Alot of battles, Indians, French, British - you name it sine the early 1700's. Saving up for a better detector. Enjoying everybody's posts and wishing it were me.
