Ohio flag political dress?

I'm no expert in this stuff and clothes. My first thought when I opened the thread.......Ohio's Centennial? But I have no Idea if it looks like it was made in 1903 or not. Maybe for the celebration.

That rules that out!! haha

Maybe a costume for one of the museums or celebrations they have or use to have in Ohio. I remember as a kid going to those types of things with my Mom. And that was in the 80's. It seemed like there was always something going on somewhere and people in costume. Especially in the northern parts. :dontknow: I tried looking around on the net and couldn't come up with anything...

Even maybe something like Canal Days. But from the 50's? Or one of those types of things.

In the civil war, southern women cut up silk dresses to make battle flags. Looks like this one was a battle flag cut up and made into a dress! Gary

He quit wearing dresses after the grand canyon jump. Too much exposure. :laughing7:
